WHAT PATH DO ACTUARIES TAKE?

Depending on your interest, you will likely join one of 2 actuary societies: the Society of Actuaries (SOA) or The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS). Each of these groups has a series of requirements to become an associate and a fellow. Usually having 1-2 passed exams puts you in good standing for internship and job opportunities.

Signing up for exams is done on the SOA and CAS websites for the respective societies' exams. The first 2 exams, Exam P/1 and Exam FM/2 are the same across both societies.

WHERE SHOULD I START WITH MY RESUME?
