Who are we?

We are actuaries.

We work to manage risk by using data driven predictions. 

The Actuarial Student Association (ASA) is a UT Dallas student organization that brings aspiring actuaries together and develops their skills to better prepare them for the workforce.

We are a diverse group, consisting of people with various backgrounds as well as majors. Our club was designed to connect actuaries, learn about internship and job opportunities, talk to current industry professionals, and provide lessons on how to use the tools of the trade.

We have multiple general meetings throughout the year where we cover topics including Visual Basic, Proper Communication, Applying for Internships, and more. Beyond this we also organize study group sessions for Actuarial Exams and volunteering events.
